About Me
I am a Special Education Teacher with classroom and 1:1 experience in New York City, Westchester County, and Connecticut.
In 2007, I graduated from Bank Street College of Education with a Dual Masters in General and Special Education. Since then, I've worked in classrooms as a head teacher and as special support for children diagnosed with speech, social, emotional and developmental delays. In 2019, I left the classroom to work as a Developmental Therapist for children ages birth-to-three.
Most recently, I trained in Deep Play for Kids, a program created by Missy Brown. Deep Play for Kids is a wonderful class that entails music, movement, breathing techniques, brain hemisphere synching exercises, bilateral coordination activities, mindfulness and play. I host private and large classes for children of all ages.
Never stop playing!
