About Me
Ever since I was a young girl, I've loved working with children. I am a Special Education Teacher with experience in both Manhattan and Connecticut. I graduated from Bank Street College of Education in 2007 with a Dual Masters in General and Special Education. Since then, I've worked in classrooms as a head teacher and as special support for children diagnosed with speech, social, emotional and developmental delays. In 2019, I left the classroom to work as a Developmental Therapist for Birth-to-Three, tutoring in the areas of literacy and math.
Most recently I trained in Deep Play for Kids, a program created by the amazing Missy Brown. Deep Play for Kids is a wonderful class that entails music, movement, breathing techniques, brain hemisphere synching exercises, bilateral coordination activities, mindfulness and play. I host private and large classes for children of all ages to experience DPK. Never stop playing!
